到了1991年，her career reached new heights with 11 films released in that year, including 《玉之宝鉴》 and 《跛豪》， both of which showcased her stunning figure and charm. Later on in 《情圣》, although not the main lead, her presence made the film more appealing. She can be considered as very successful in this period.

Just like many other actresses who entered the wind month market later sought to transform their careers but she chose to continue her career as a singer after leaving the entertainment industry. Unfortunately, her music debut received lukewarm response.

Afterwards, she also met someone important in her life - future partner Lui Sik-cheung. They quickly fell in love and announced their retirement from show business for a quiet life together. Although they did not get married officially and occasionally appeared together outside or went out on dates that caught media attention; they refused offers of high fees to return to acting.

Perhaps compared to others such as Yeung Uk-ching or Chen Bao-lien who seem more fortunate with their careers though she was known for making many wind month movies without successfully transitioning into another field yet still managed to find true love with Lui Sik-cheung while living a peaceful life by his side
